The App for the Itty Bitty Buggy works on both Android Tablets and IPads. There are different installation instructions below.
The IBB can also work on a PC, but it is for more advanced programming and will not be used in our Courses.
Download the Itty Bitty Buggy App from the APP Store. Once you download and it is installed. Test it by connecting to the IBB. Make sure your Tablet is touching the IBB for best connection.
The newer Android Tablets work best with Android Version 7 and higher. The software for downloading the App is NOT available in the Play Store can be found by going HERE: The App installation will prompt you to select "Unknown Sources" to let the installation begin. Make sure your Tablet is touching the IBB for best connection.
The IBB can be programmed using a PC or MAC. While the Scratch Computer programming (mDesigner) is more powerful, it will be more difficult for younger kids and they will not be able to control the IBB wirelessly. Programs will have to be "uploaded" then run. The USB cable will need be connected to the robot every time to upload a program while having it connected to the USB port. For Downloading software information for Computers click HERE. The Computer software to use is the latest mDesigner v2.1.0
